Sometimes a clean break is the best. Just today I am moving on to a '98 Moto Guzzi V11 EV. It was a decision fueled partly by the fact that my wife cannot/will not ride 2-up on the Savage comfortably. Secondly, I got an irresistible deal on an immaculate 2400 mile machine whose previous 1-owner is a race car mechanic. I must move quickly on this deal, the bike is priced at more than 2k under bottom Kelly Blue Book retail.
I do wish I could keep the Savage, but simply don't have the funds, garage space nor time for two bikes. I know I'll miss the lightweight maneuverability
and the spontaneity of the Savage.
I'll keep reading the Savage Forum and contribute where I can. Its been great!
